Tara Broadshaw
Tara Broadshaw is a graduate of the Art & Art History program at the University of Toronto at Mississauga, jointly with Sheridan College. She lives and works in the city of Toronto, which allows her work to revolve around her Christian faith in combination with her urban surroundings. Her current practice involves the experimental investigation of blood and other temporal mediums as a material. It is through these material investigations that she often takes a secular object and illustrates events in the ecclesiastical world in order to explore the internal conflicts with her own spiritual practice. Most recently she completed her first solo show All my brothers, All my sisters at St. Ansgar Lutheran Church in Toronto. |
